'William and Kate' have been panned by critics: The Movie for wooden acting, shoddy Mills & Boon-style conversations and ridiculous bed scenes. 'William and Kate' has also lots of inaccuracies. Kate didn't swim ashore and there was no ski slopes photocall. It seems that the crappy movie was being well beyond the bounds of any good taste.
A 3 million pounds trailer, filmed in California last month, went online on Tuesday and was watched by 25,000 viewers.
One said it was "Awfully Unwatchable". In one scene Camilla Luddington, playing Kate, dives into a river to greet Wills. Then Wills, played by Nico Evers Swindell, sang a serenade to her in a sort of karaoke club.
Ben Cross looks embarrassing as Prince Charles while Kate's mother resembles Cruela De Vile. The film premiered on Channel5 on April 24, will be out on DVD the next day. Naff stuff isn't it ? SO it is but it can make a very good candidate for 'the most hated movie' of the year.
